Path to the Podium
After an unbeaten run in the regional qualifiers, the Hungen team entered the state tournament with confidence. In the group stage they opened with a victory, suffered only one loss to the local sports school in Hofheim, and still secured a spot in the semifinals.
The semifinal showdown against the elite sports school from Frankfurt proved tough; despite a fierce effort, the Hungen players were edged out. They rebounded quickly in the bronze‑medal match, narrowly defeating the team from Korbach to earn third place.
