Born in Chicago, Illinois, on June 14, 1931, Mr. Walsh served in the United States Army before embarking on a 25-year teaching career in Grafton, Wisconsin. Beyond the classroom, he significantly impacted the local athletic scene, serving as head basketball coach for the varsity boys’ team from 1972 to 1982 and again from 1988 to 1991.
