Daniel Mitka, a Junior National qualifier and Czech international swimmer from Denver, Colorado, has pledged a verbal commitment to the Georgia Institute of Technology for the 2027-28 season. Mitka, who specializes in breaststroke and individual medley (IM), will join the Yellow Jackets’ Class of 2031.
Mitka is a rising senior at Denver East High School and swims club for the University of Denver Hilltoppers. He will join fellow commit Liam Drake in Atlanta, according to the announcement.
