Margaret is remembered as a devoted mother to Sinéad, Fiona, Ruth, Sarah, and Seán, and a loving wife to her husband, Padraig. Her passing leaves a significant void in the lives of those who knew her.

She is also deeply missed by her sisters, Denise, Joanne, Fiona, and Maura, as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Ann Lohan, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family, teaching colleagues, neighbours, and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Denis and Maureen Cunniffe of Liswilliam, Dysart, Co Roscommon.
Funeral Arrangements
Margaret will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, located on the grounds of Portumna Retirement Village, on Tuesday, February 24th, from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral cortege will then proceed to St Brigid’s Church in Portumna on Wednesday, February 25th, arriving at 10:45am for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Following the Mass, burial will take place in St Michael’s cemetery, Portumna. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be available to view online at https://www.churchservices.tv/portumna.
The family has requested privacy at their home on Wednesday morning.
