Indonesia’s Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa inaugurated 40 officials on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). This move follows scrutiny related to alleged corruption cases within the institution and marks the latest in a series of personnel evaluations.

Personnel Changes at Key Indonesian Financial Posts

This inauguration represents the third such event in the past month, according to statements made by Minister Purbaya. The appointments are part of a larger strategy to strengthen the organization, a common practice that also extends to the Customs and Excise Office.

“This is part of an organizational reform strategy by placing the best people in strategic positions at the right time,” Purbaya stated during the ceremony at the Finance Ministry, as reported by Katadata.co.id.

Key Appointments Announced

Several key positions were filled during the inauguration. Nurbaeti Munawaroh was appointed DGT Secretary, while Irawan will serve as Director of Audit and Collection. Eureka Putra is now Director of Potential, Compliance, and Revenue, and Heru Narwanta will be Director of Internal Compliance and Human Resource Transformation.

Regional leadership roles were also addressed, with Ihsan Priyawibawa named Head of the Special Jakarta Regional Office and Hestu Yoga Saksama appointed Head of the West Java II Regional Office. Numerous other provincial assignments were also made across the country.

Four officials were also inaugurated at the Directorate General of Budget, including Riko Amir as Director of Budget for Political, Legal, defence, and Security Affairs, Didik Kusnaini as Director of Budget for Human Development and Culture, and Kurnia Chairi as Director of Budget Regulation Harmonization.
