Cuffestown, Co. Sligo, Ireland is mourning the loss of Micheál, who passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at Sligo University Hospital. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death.

A Life Remembered

Micheál was predeceased by his sons, Martin and Brian, and his father, Jimmy. He is remembered as a beloved husband to Winnie Ann, a son to Celia, and a father to James, Michael, Mark, and Daniel.

Funeral Arrangements

A shuttle bus will be available both evenings from the Hilltop Service Station to facilitate those wishing to pay their respects. The funeral procession is scheduled to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Kilglass, on Saturday, February 21st, at 10:30 AM for a Requiem Mass.

Following the Mass, Micheál will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass, Enniscrone. For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/kilglass.
