A Life Remembered
Micheál was predeceased by his sons, Martin and Brian, and his father, Jimmy. He is remembered as a beloved husband to Winnie Ann, a son to Celia, and a father to James, Michael, Mark, and Daniel.
His passing will be deeply felt by his wife, mother, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. A period of repose will be held at his residence (Eircode F26 XC98) on Thursday and Friday evenings between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Funeral Arrangements
A shuttle bus will be available both evenings from the Hilltop Service Station to facilitate those wishing to pay their respects. The funeral procession is scheduled to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Kilglass, on Saturday, February 21st, at 10:30 AM for a Requiem Mass.
Following the Mass, Micheál will be laid to rest in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Kilglass, Enniscrone. For those unable to attend in person, the Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/kilglass.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Croí, either through Care McGowan’s funeral home in Ballina or online at https://croi.ie/donate/. A space has been provided for messages of condolence to be left for the family.
