Paradigm Shift: Moving Image Exhibition with Warhol & Leckey – London 2025/2026
A new exhibition, Paradigm Shift: New Dimensions in Moving Image, is set to open at 180 Studios in London on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The show will explore the evolution of moving image culture from the 1970s to the present day, encompassing a wide range of mediums.

Paradigm Shift draws from avant-garde cinema, television, music videos, performance art, fashion, gaming, and internet culture. The exhibition aims to showcase how artists have utilized evolving technologies to challenge conventional storytelling and artistic expression.
The exhibition features work from a diverse group of acclaimed artists, including Mark Leckey, Andy Warhol, and Nan Goldin. Other featured artists are Sophia Al-Maria, Meriem Bennani, Dara Birnbaum, Foday Dumbuya, Cao Fei, Tremaine Emory, Arthur Jafa, Derek Jarman, Julianknxx, Josèfa Ntjam, Pipilotti Rist, Martine Syms, TELFAR, Ryan Trecartin, and Gillian Wearing.
Curatorial Vision
The exhibition is curated by Mark Wadhwa and Jefferson Hack, the co-founder and CEO of Dazed. Hack described moving image art as existing “at a crossroads: high and low, visceral and conceptual, personal and political.” He believes the exhibition will inspire audiences to engage with storytelling through screens in new ways.
