Samsung Art Store Brings Art Basel to Homes Worldwide With New Curated Collection – Samsung Global Newsroom

June 14, 2026 discoverhiddenusacom Entertainment

Samsung Electronics has launched the Art Basel in Basel (ABB) 2026 Collection, a digital exhibition featuring 24 works by Swiss and Switzerland-based artists available exclusively on the Samsung Art Store. According to the company, the curated collection includes pieces from eight galleries that will exhibit at Art Basel in Basel from June 18-21 in Switzerland.

The digital exhibition aims to bring regional Swiss art to a global audience of Samsung Art TV users. Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, stated the partnership helps customers turn screens into personal spaces for discovering and living with art.

Which artists and galleries are featured in the ABB 2026 Collection?

The collection highlights three Swiss-born artists across different generations. According to Samsung, these include Thomas Huber, whose work “16.7.2024” explores picture space; Tobias Kaspar, whose “The Japan Collection” bridges art and fashion; and Athene Galiciadis, whose “Stillleben” combines geometric and organic forms.

Which artists and galleries are featured in the ABB 2026 Collection?

Eight galleries contributed to the exhibition. These include Switzerland-based Mai 36, von Bartha, Skopia, and Blue Velvet, along with Fanta MLN, Hoffmann Donahue, Lars Friedrich, Sans titre, and Felix Gauditz.

Did You Know? Samsung has maintained its position as the global TV market leader for 20 consecutive years.

How is the Art Store being integrated into the Art Basel event?

Visitors to Art Basel in Basel can view an immersive installation featuring a gallery-style Art Wall. This installation uses Samsung’s 2026 Art TV lineup, including OLED, Micro RGB, The Frame, and The Frame Pro, to show how art can move from galleries into everyday home spaces.

The exhibit also features a collaboration with new Art TV ambassador and visual artist Daniel Arsham. Arsham designed a custom bezel for The Frame Pro with a three-dimensional pattern based on topographical mapping data, paired with on-screen art inspired by crystalline forms and erosion patterns.

Expert Insight: Samantha Carter notes that by transitioning high-end gallery works into a subscription-based digital format, Samsung is effectively lowering the barrier to entry for art collecting. This shift could change how regional artists gain international visibility without relying solely on physical gallery footprints.

What is the scale of the Samsung Art Store service?

The Samsung Art Store currently offers a subscription service with more than 5,000 artworks in 4K. According to company data, the platform features over 800 artists and more than 80 partners.

These works are available across the 2026 Art TV lineup, which includes Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame, The Frame Pro, and Micro RGB. Maike Cruse, Director of Art Basel in Basel, stated that the collaboration reinforces a commitment to connecting regional art scenes with a global audience.

What may happen next for the partnership?

Samsung and Art Basel may continue to expand their global partnership by introducing more regional collections from other Art Basel sites, such as Miami Beach, Hong Kong, Paris, or Qatar. The company could further integrate artist ambassadors like Daniel Arsham to create more sculptural hardware options for its TV frames.
