San Antonio Public Library: Black History Month 2026 Events & Programs
San Antonio residents will have numerous opportunities to engage with Black history and culture throughout February, as the San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) launches a series of programs and events. These initiatives aim to honour the contributions of Black Americans, both locally and nationally.
Celebrating Black History in San Antonio
The SAPL’s Black History Month events encompass a diverse range of activities, including exhibits, musical performances, film screenings, and art projects. These events are designed to encourage San Antonians to recognize, connect with, and learn more about the deep roots of Black culture within the city.
