Tirol’s Most Family-Friendly Businesses 2025: Record Participation & Winners Revealed
Innsbruck, Austria – A record 76 businesses across the Tyrol region were recognised on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, for their commitment to work-life balance. The awards, known as “Familienfreundlichste Betriebe Tirols” (Most Family-Friendly Businesses in Tyrol), are presented biennially by the state of Tyrol to organizations actively promoting better integration of professional and family life.
Recognizing Family-Friendly Practices
The awards ceremony, held at the Landhaus in Innsbruck, saw representatives from five categories receive commendation. Families and Economic Landesrat Astrid Mair and Economic Landesrat Mario Gerber presented the awards. This year’s participation marks a new high, demonstrating a growing awareness among Tyrolean companies of the importance of supporting employees’ family responsibilities.
Economic and Social Benefits
Landesrat Mair emphasized that prioritizing work-life balance is not only socially responsible but also benefits businesses. She stated that fostering an environment where employees can effectively manage their work and family commitments increases job satisfaction and contributes to fair and modern working conditions. Landesrat Gerber added that family-friendly businesses gain a competitive advantage by attracting and retaining skilled workers, ultimately strengthening the Tyrolean economy.
