A Strategic Shift Toward Maritime Education
Beyond the leadership change, the association announced the development of the Instituto AMANAC. This initiative is designed to professionalize the maritime transport sector and improve expertise in the international movement of goods.

The association plans to build the institute by developing curricula, recruiting faculty, and forming partnerships with universities. The roadmap includes creating a diverse academic council composed of both domestic and international specialists to ensure the quality of its professional certifications.
Looking ahead, the association aims to have three programmes and ten professional courses operational by 2027. Following the launch, the organization intends to pursue national accreditation for its educational offerings within a three-year window.
