Clemente Named to WNT Collegiate Training Roster
Rising sophomore Alanah Clemente of the University of Oregon has been selected for the U.S. Women’s National Team Collegiate Training roster, as announced by USA Volleyball on Tuesday. The training camp will take place February 19-22 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training centre in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A Rising Star
Clemente’s invitation to the training camp recognizes her exceptional performance during her freshman season with the Oregon Ducks. She was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and earned a spot on the 2025 AVCA All-America Third Team.
Dominant Freshman Campaign
During the 2025 season, Clemente proved to be a key offensive force for Oregon, ranking third among all NCAA freshmen with 4.73 points per set. She consistently delivered strong performances, recording double-digit kills in 22 of 29 matches and exceeding 20 kills in seven outings.
The Santa Clarita, California native’s all-around game was evident in her final statistics, as she also contributed significantly in digs, blocks, and service aces. She finished third in the Big Ten in aces.
National Team Development
The Women’s National Team Collegiate Training (WNTCT) is designed to provide a high-level development opportunity for collegiate athletes. The camp will gather 62 athletes from 29 NCAA Division I programmes, offering them a chance to train and compete in a national team environment.
The training will be led by Women’s National Team head coach Erik Sullivan and assistant coach Brandon Taliaferro. Athletes will also benefit from presentations by Athletes Unlimited, Major League Volleyball, and League One Volleyball, providing insights into professional volleyball opportunities.

Clemente is one of eight opposite hitters selected for the training roster and one of 25 athletes representing the Big Ten Conference. Oregon, under first-year head coach Trent Kersten, concluded the 2025 season with a 17-13 record, including victories over ranked opponents such as Minnesota, Purdue, and UCLA.
