The Cal State Fullerton Titans women’s tennis team extended their winning streak to five games after defeating San Jose State on Sunday at the Titan Courts, completing a 4-game homestand with a perfect record.
Dominating Performance on Both Sides
The Titans, now 6-2 for the season, secured the victory by first winning the doubles point. Seha Yu and Martina Markov won at No. 2 Doubles, while Amelia Zylberman and Milena Gevorgyan triumphed 6-1 in No. 3 doubles.
Singles Play Seals the Win
The Titans continued their strong play into singles, winning the first set on the first five courts. Amelia Zylberman won her match on Court 3 with a score of 6-1, 6-3. Seha Yu followed with a straight-set victory, 6-2, 6-2, on Court 4, bringing the team’s lead to 3-0. Emilie Lugon-Moulin then clinched the match for the Titans with a 6-3, 6-3 win on Court 2.
