Opening Reception – Species of Magic: From the Studio of W. S. Milner
A solo exhibition honoring the late San Pedro artist Wendy Calloway (1948 – 2025), also known as W.S. Milner, will open to the public on Saturday, February 14th. The exhibition, titled “Species of Magic: From the Studio of W.S. Milner,” will be held at Angels Gate Cultural Center.
A Celebration of Artistic Vision
Curated by Phoebe Barnum and Susan Davis, the exhibition draws from collections held by those who knew and loved Calloway during her time as an AGCC Studio Artist. Her artistic practise is described as a “transformative force for constructing reality and unveiling hidden truths.”
The opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, February 14th, from 2pm to 4pm. Following the opening, the gallery will be open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.
