The charges against Kwon, 39, extend beyond sexual assault. He is also accused of forcible confinement, sexual assault with choking, and several drug and money laundering offenses. Specifically, he faces charges related to the possession of Schedule I and III substances for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000.
Kwon gained notoriety in the poker world through high-stakes livestreamed games. In May 2024, he participated in two $1 million buy-in games on Hustler Casino Live, losing a combined total of $1,408,000.
