A Sensory Exploration of Data
data-cosm [n°1], commissioned by 180 Studios, is described as a “total sensory encounter.” It transforms vast datasets into an audiovisual experience, exploring the connections between art and physics on a large scale.
Visitors can experience a journey “charting the full spectrum of data in nature – from the microscopic world of particle physics to the macroscopic scale of astrophysics.” This immersive environment is designed to engage multiple senses simultaneously.
Building on Previous Work
This new installation expands on ideas initially explored in Ikeda’s acclaimed data-verse project. data-cosm [n°1] is presented alongside another exhibition, Paradigm Shift, which features work from artists including Mark Leckey, Arthur Jafa, and Andy Warhol.
Tickets for data-cosm [n°1] are available for purchase on the 180 Studios website. The installation is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12pm to 7pm, with the last entry at 7pm.
