The UConn track and field team is gearing up for a busy stretch as the indoor regular season nears its conclusion. The Huskies will split their efforts between the Harvard Crimson Open in Cambridge and the Valentine Invitational in Boston, with competition scheduled to take place at both locations.

Individual Achievements
Emi Erekosima has been recognised for his performance, earning BIG EAST Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. Erekosima won the triple jump competition at the Sykes & Sabock Challenge at Penn State with a jump of 15.23m, and currently leads the BIG EAST in that event.
On the women’s side, Brooklyn Taylor achieved a personal best in the 60m hurdles, winning at University Park with a time of 8.40. This performance ranks fifth in UConn programme history. Emerson Flaker also contributed, finishing second in the 400m with a time of 54.77, placing her eighth on the programme’s all-time list. Alyssa Elliot topped the field in the 600m, recording a time of 1:34.18, the sixth-fastest in UConn history.
