The community of Hollymount, County Mayo, is mourning the loss of a resident who passed away peacefully at Galway University Hospital, surrounded by family. The individual, formerly of Farmhill, Claremorris, was predeceased by her parents, Bridie and Joe Vahey.

A Life Remembered

The deceased is survived by her husband, Tom, and daughters Vanessa, Melissa, and Bernadette, as well as son-in-law Sean. She is also remembered by her sisters Marion, Teresa, and Anne, along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Final Arrangements

Reposing will be held at St. Colman’s Funeral Home, Lower James Street, Claremorris (F12 R3W8) on Sunday evening, January 25th, from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. A removal will take place from her residence on Monday morning, proceeding to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort (F12 YV70) for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Following the Funeral Mass, burial will occur in Roundfort Cemetery. The family has requested that their home remain private at this time.
