Downtown Street Parties returning this summer
Sault Ste. Marie will host monthly Downtown Street Parties on Queen Street from June to September 2026, according to the City of Sault Ste. Marie. The events feature local music, food, and family activities from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., with each party highlighting a different section of the downtown core to showcase local culture and diversity.
When and where are the 2026 Sault Ste. Marie Street Parties?
The City of Sault Ste. Marie scheduled four events on Queen Street, each moving to a new location. June 25 takes place from Pim Street to Brock Street, and July 16 runs from Brock Street to Elgin Street, according to the official release.
The series continues August 20 from Elgin Street to Dennis Street. The final event occurs September 17 from Dennis Street to Gore Street.
Who is performing at the downtown events?
A lineup of local artists will provide live entertainment throughout the summer. According to the city, featured acts include Vito Tassone, The Steeltown Playboys, Angry Joe and the Growlers, and Half Scoundies.
Other scheduled performers are Rob Speers and the Barbarians, Cloud Bandits, BookcluB, and the Stumpy Coldwater Trio. The roster also includes Brendan Hodgson, Jay Case, Matthew James, and Mike Haggith and Dos Amigos.
